1.) Tell us a little bit about yourselves. 

I sit at a desk across the street but the people I work with on a daily basis are in Germany, Boston, St. Louis and Milwaukee. I have a two boys, 3 and 6, and a husband that are the center of my world. We love to go to the desert to ride our quads or take a cruise in our Jeep, during the summer we make a point to make it out to the river for a least a couple long weekends.


2.) What was your fitness background before Crossfit?

I played water polo thru college but have really struggled to find something to keep me motivated to make fitness a priority since then.

3.) When did you first walk into Crossfit Temecula?

I think it was somewhere around July 18th 2016, after Issac gave a speech at my work.


4.) What was one of your first goals you set after becoming a member?

My first goal was to for Issac to let me use weights on my barbell for a WOD J , Then I wanted to RX a WOD.  


5.)  As an athlete, you have accomplished so much in such a short period of time! What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of being able to do a pull-up, it is the best feeling ever.


6.) You’re in the middle of a difficult WOD and starting to feel the struggle. What are you telling yourself? 

I break the reps down to very small chunks, I always keep telling myself just to focus on that small piece and then the next.


7.) You are ALWAYS smiling. What inspires you to keep coming back to the box every day?

I feel like I am an example for my whole family. I want them to see that I make health / fitness a priority and to be healthy with me. I smile because I am done with work for the day and all I have to do is work out, I don’t even have to think up a workout it all just laid out for me. The atmosphere is just so fun, I love the competition! And the coaches are all AWESOME.


8.) How has Crossfit effected the rest of your life?

I have a lot to get done every day, I need to be at my fittest in order to be able to have a successful career and still have the energy to be a great mom and wife. The first couple months were a bit rough but now I feel like I have all the energy I need to get everything done and I love it.

9.) We all have at least one movement that haunts us in our sleep! What’s yours?

Burpees, I just can’t do them very fast and I hate it!

10.)  Tell us something we don’t know about you

I was a lifeguard for Oceanside Beach for two years.
