1.) Tell us a little about yourself.

I was born and raised here in Temecula. My wife and I have one 6 year old son. I spent 6 years in the Air Force and I currently work as a Software Developer. I enjoy camping, backpacking, and snow boarding but my most rewarding hobby is spending time with my family.

2.) Have you always been an athlete?

I did track in high school (pole vault, hurdles, long jump).

3.) What inspired you to walk into Crossfit Temecula?

I first heard about Crossfit from a coworker who lost 100lbs. My doctor strongly recommended daily strenuous exercise to help with stress.

4.) Describe your first Crossfit wod.

Throwing up. That says it all.

5.) What motivates you in the gym?

Two things: 1.) Keeping my routine. 2.) Peer pressure (in a good way!).

6.) You're about to attempt to PR your Clean & Jerk. What's going through your head?

Get that rear knee down.

7.) If you were able to erase one movement from Crossfit altogether, what would it be and why?

Kipping HSPU. My body doesn't like to be inverted.

8.) What is your proudest moment since starting Crossfit?

My proudest moment is being part of such a caring and supportive community.

9.) Have you ever wanted to quit a WOD? What pushed you through to the end?

Pretty much every day :) The confidence that has been built over time; that I can make it through, I won't die, has gotten me through most tough workouts.

10.)If you could pick a training partner from the 2016 Crossfit Games, who would it be and why?

I think any of the athletes would be good partners. I think it would be impossible to make it to that level without being a team player and having a huge amount of humility.
