From the basic (but all-important) air squat all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilize them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. This class moves with breath a body together in a smooth, stable, and restorative pace.This class is ideal for those who find the need and value of increasing mobility and flexibility in their body. Sequencing and postures are placed together for each class with a meaningful intention to balance out the other practices of an athlete or athlete in training.
This is an abbreviated CrossFit class! We focus on the workout of the day, without supplemental strength and skill elements. You come in, warm up, do the workout of the day...and leave!
This is a practice session for Olympic lifting. Here we focus on breaking down the Olympic lifts with plenty of practice and repetition.
CrossFit Endurance is an endurance sports training program geared towards improving performance, fitness, and endurance sports potential. It is different from the traditional long-slow distance training by eliminating volume and upping the intensity of the workouts.
Here we focus primarily on running. We use constantly varied interval training and technique practice to improve respiratory endurance.
Aerial Yoga class is a form of yoga that utilizes a fabric "hammock" to support and/or facilitate movements in a safe, well aligned, and new way. Each class begins with stretching and strengthening exercises aided by our aerial "hammock" fabrics. Then you will learn and practice basic aerial moves assisted by the use of the fabric for support and stability. Whether this is your first time or you are a regular aerial student, you will benefit from this class!
This is the only way you should be preparing for your next Obstacle Course Race. But, this isn't just for OCRers! This is for anyone who enjoys a different style of workout than your normal routine. We implement odd object carries, wall training, rope climbing, and a ton more in this class. If you do anything this week, make sure it is THIS CLASS!
This class is designed to teach the fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting consisting of the snatch and clean and jerk. Whether you are a first time lifter or a seasoned veteran you will be constantly challenged to improve technique and strengthen the weaknesses affecting your lifts. There are no prerequisites for this class.... Just a love of heavy stuff and a desire to lift it overhead.
