Caroline Morgan completed our 28 Day Nutrition Challenge this January/February & rolled into our Phase II 1:1 Nutrition Coaching.  Caroline is a perfect example. Most of those calculators have people chronically under eating. It’s important to learn where your maintenance is so you’re not in a constant deficit, trashing not only your performance goals but your metabolism & hormones. Feel like junk? Not hitting your goals? I joined Crossfit Temecula a little over a year ago after being fed up with my physical state. Prior I have had numerous gym memberships which I inevitably stopped using. I remember deciding to join a Crossfit gym because people I knew passionately talked about the one they go to. I called the gym ready to join and spoke with one of the owners named Isaac. He got me setup and the next day I did my first Crossfit class. I specifically remember the first class having a 12 minute workout in what Crossfit calls a WOD “workout of the day”. My initial thoughts were “I can do anything someone asks me for 12 minutes that’s nothing”. After quickly humbling myself I survived the first workout with a new respect for time. I still wasn’t sure about the whole Crossfit thing until I woke up the next day. Sore I was, unlike any I have ever achieved from any gym. I told my wife who like me had gym memberships but never achieved satisfying lasting results she had to try this. She like myself was intimidated by some of the equipment and movements. Crossfit Temecula has done an incredible job at teaching us both lifts and movements we never thought we could do or would try in a gym. All the coaches are very encouraging and keep you physical capabilities in mind to ensure you lift safe and don’t injure yourself. The gym has a community of people that encourage you and want to see you reach your physical goals. You will not get what you get at Crossfit Temecula at any big box gym. I highly recommend you give them a call and try it out for yourself.
