CrossFit Temecula-A catchup post
Sorry it's been a while since the last post. We were so busy getting ready for the IE Open event that took place, here, at CrossFit Temecula this past Saturday. It was a lot of fun and it went very well. I want to thank Katie, Debby, and Haley for donating their time and energy to help the event run even smoother. Without their help it would've been a lot harder for me to put on a fun event. Thanks girls! Also, this Saturday, April 30th, the last IE Open WOD will be held at CrossFit Inland Valley. It is going to be a great time with a live DJ, food, BEER, and, not to mention a lot of great athletes competing. Eeryone is welcome and it is free of charge for spectators!!! The IE is the up and coming CrossFit community and we want to show everyone around the world that we are in the place to be when it comes to CrossFit. So, get in here, have a great week of workouts, and then a great Saturday enjoying and supporting the sport you are learning to love. Please wear your CrossFit Temecula shirts on Saturday. If you don't have one we still have a few left. Time to represent!!!

CrossFit Temecula-”Nicole”
It was time for another benchmark workout to make its way onto the whiteboard today. So, the wod was "Nicole". I consider this workout to be a lot more mental than physical. It takes a lot to numb your mind of the physical pain in order to hang on to that bar and keep moving. Why would you do it then you ask? Pure satisfaction at the end of the workout and, in almost every instance today, to prove to yourself you can do more than you think you can. Please post your thoughts on this to comments.
Warmup:
Dynamic warmup
Strength/Skill:
5x3 Single Leg Deadlifts
WOD:
"Nicole"
Run 400 meters and then perform a max rep set of pullups. Once you drop off the bar, rest at the bottom of the bar, or just can't do anymore then you run.
